Billing Policies
We do expect payment in advance of tutoring sessions or editing services but please note the following with regard to in-person and virtual sessions:
If the tutor matched to you is not the right fit, we will gladly match you with a different tutor and offer a refund for the services provided by the original tutor. Note that if this takes place after multiple sessions with a tutor, then we can still match you with another tutor but you will be expected to pay for all services provided by the original tutor. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refunds for editing services.
We do have a 48-hour cancellation policy for tutoring sessions though your individual tutor may choose to allow you to cancel under different terms as per your ongoing relationship. If you pay for a package of tutoring sessions and come to determine that you do not need to use them all, we will gladly refund you for unused sessions keeping in mind that you still need to provide your tutor with 48-hours’ notice if you have any sessions already booked.
Payment Options
After filling out the information on our online form, you will receive an invoice where you will have the option to pay through Credit Card. Following payment, a receipt will be emailed to you. You may also pay through E-transfer if you call us directly and we can take down all necessary information prior to the transfer of funds. After paying by E-transfer, a receipt will be emailed to you.
